I know a lot of you were frustrated to receive an error message when trying to access the blog the past two days. We were frustrated too! The blog had been on a shared server that, due to the immense amount of traffic, simply couldn’t support it.
I couldn’t even access the dashboard, so we weren’t even sure how much traffic “too much” actually was. Turns out, even with the site down the majority of the day yesterday there were over 21,000 views yesterday alone. Did not see that coming.
After much frustration and hard work by my sweet husband, as well as outstanding customer service by Bluehost (No seriously, ya’ll…if you’re looking for a good hosting provider I cannot say enough good about our interactions with them so far!) we finally have everything moved to a server that can handle that many views.
I’ll have a new post up later this evening, but I just wanted to say how much I sincerely appreciate your patience and all your support while we resolved the issue.
